How we test every tool
Every review on this site follows the same process:
We use it ourselves. We create an account and use the tool on real tasks, not just a quick tour of the dashboard.
We take our own screenshots. What you see in our reviews is what we saw, not stock images or vendor marketing.
We check the details. Pricing, plans, and limits are checked against the official site at the time of writing, and we note the date.
We say who it’s not for. Every tool has trade-offs. We’d rather you skip a tool that doesn’t fit than buy one you’ll cancel next month.
Honest by design
Level Up Productivity is run by a small team: Joel and Carissa. We grow this site through search and word of mouth only, no paid ads. If a tool disappoints us, we’ll say so, even when it has an affiliate program.
