Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: October 26, 2026

The Short Version

Disclosure: Some of the links on this page are affiliate links. This means if you click and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend tools we have personally tested or thoroughly researched. Our opinions are our own.

How We Make Money

Level Up Productivity is free to read. We pay for the site through affiliate commissions: when you click certain links and buy a product or subscription, the company may pay us a commission. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or not.

We don't run paid ads on the site, and we don't accept payment for reviews, rankings, or guaranteed coverage.

We mark affiliate links with the disclosure above on every page and post that contains them, placed before the first affiliate link.

How We Test

  • We use the tool. We create an account and use it on real tasks. When a tool is researched rather than tested hands-on, we say so clearly.

  • We take our own screenshots. Screenshots in our reviews come from our own use.

  • We check the facts. Pricing, plans, and features are checked against the official site at the time of writing, and each review shows when it was last updated.

  • We include real downsides. Every review has cons and a "who it's not for" section.

Editorial Independence

  • Affiliate partners don't see or approve our reviews before they're published.

  • A commission never changes our verdict. If a tool with an affiliate program isn't good, we'll say so. If the best option has no affiliate program, we'll still recommend it.

  • We may receive free access or trial accounts to test a tool. When that happens, we say so in the review, and it doesn't change our opinion.

  • If we get something wrong, email hello@levelupproductivity.com and we'll correct it.
